Mercer Township, PA (October 7, 2024) – On October 5, a propane explosion at a residence in the 300-block of Browntown Road resulted in injuries to two individuals on Sunday evening. Superior EMS was dispatched at approximately 9:43 p.m. for a Bravo response to the scene.
Initial reports indicated that the explosion led to two patients with injuries. Control informed responding units that one of the patients was a male in his 30s who sustained minor head lacerations and was also bleeding from the nose. Fortunately, reports indicated that there were no visible burns on either patient.
By 9:52 p.m., EMS unit Sup-106 arrived on the scene to assess the situation and provide medical assistance. Following their evaluation, the injured individuals were transported to GCMC for further treatment at approximately 10:14 p.m.
