McDonald County, MO (January 29, 2025) – A rear-end collision on Interstate 49, two miles north of Anderson, left one person injured Tuesday evening, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
The crash occurred at approximately 7:00 p.m. when a 2021 RAM 1500, driven by a 63-year-old man from Fayetteville, AR, collided with the rear of a 2017 RAM ProMaster van driven by a 43-year-old man from Goodman, MO.
The driver of the ProMaster sustained injuries in the crash. He was transported to Freeman Hospital in Neosho by a private vehicle for medical evaluation.
Both vehicles sustained moderate damage but were able to be driven from the scene. The Missouri State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by Troopers M.W. Coleman and M.K. Wilson.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
