Mars, PA (March 3, 2025) – A three-vehicle accident with injuries was reported Sunday evening at the intersection of Route 228 and Mars-Valencia Rd.
Emergency responders from Stations 42, 19, and 76 were dispatched to the scene at approximately 5:01 p.m. Upon arrival at 5:04 p.m., RQ-42 confirmed that one vehicle had left the roadway while another remained in the middle of the intersection with significant front-end damage. All occupants were reported to be out of their vehicles.
Additional medical support was requested at 5:10 p.m., and Medic 955, initially unavailable due to another detail, was ultimately dispatched to the scene at 5:13 p.m. EMS crews assessed the injured, and by 5:23 p.m., the first patient was transported to AHN Wexford. A second transport followed at 5:35 p.m.
Authorities worked to manage the scene, clear the roadway, and investigate the cause of the crash. The incident was declared terminated at 5:31 p.m., with all fire department units clearing the scene.
