Maries County, MO (February 22, 2025) – A serious crash occurred on Highway 42, approximately five miles west of Vienna, at 5:40 p.m. Friday. Vehicle 1, a 1993 Dodge Power Ram, veered off the right side of the roadway, attempted to correct its course, but then crossed over to the left side, striking a tree and subsequently overturning onto its side.
The driver, a 68-year-old male from Brinktown, MO, and an 11-year-old juvenile male occupant sustained serious injuries. Both were transported by air ambulance to the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
