Manheim Twp., PA (March 6, 2025) – A multi-vehicle collision on Route 30 eastbound at the Lititz Pike/Route 501 exit left three people injured early Thursday morning.
According to Manheim Township Police Sergeant Barry Waltz, the crash involved a tractor-trailer and four passenger vehicles. The accident occurred at approximately 6:30 a.m., leading to significant traffic delays in the area.
During the crash, the tractor-trailer veered off the eastbound lanes and came to a stop blocking Chester Road. A chain reaction occurred as backed-up traffic led to multiple vehicles failing to stop in time, resulting in a five-vehicle pileup.
Emergency responders arrived quickly to assist those involved. Medics and fire crews worked to assist the injured victims, three of whom were transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash and working to determine whether road conditions or driver actions contributed to the collision. No further details have been released at this time.
Our thoughts are with those injured, and we hope for their full recovery.
