Manchester, NJ (December 4, 2024) – Emergency responders were quickly on the scene of a two-car accident that took place on Tuesday, December 3, just after 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of County Routes 547 and 571. The collision involved a 2004 BMW and a 2022 Nissan, leading to significant injuries for both drivers.
According to the investigation, the Nissan, driven by 39-year-old Jason Safoschnik, was attempting to make a left turn when it was struck by the BMW. The impact caused the BMW to collide with a nearby traffic signal pole. The driver of the BMW, a juvenile, sustained a leg injury and was transported to Community Medical Center for treatment. Safoschnik was also injured, suffering internal injuries, and was taken to Jersey Shore Medical Center. Thankfully, both individuals are reported to be in stable condition.
