Lower Saucon Twp., PA (February 17, 2025) – Emergency crews responded to a serious motor vehicle accident involving an overturned tractor-trailer with entrapment on Interstate 78 eastbound at the on-ramp from PA-33 southbound early Monday morning.
The crash was reported at approximately 1:18 a.m., prompting the dispatch of multiple fire and EMS units, including Fire Stations 28, 16, and 13, along with EMS units from 13 and 20. Upon arrival, responders found the tractor-trailer overturned and blocked multiple lanes of travel. At least one person was reportedly trapped inside the vehicle.
Fire crews worked quickly to extricate the trapped individual while paramedics provided medical care at the scene. Authorities have not yet released details on the severity of injuries or the number of people involved.
