T-Bone Collisions in Kentucky
T-bone crashes, also known as side-impact collisions, often result in severe injuries or fatalities, especially when they occur at intersections. In Louisville, busy intersections like Outer Loop and Minor Ln are common locations for such accidents due to high traffic volume, failure to yield, and distracted driving.
Side-impact crashes can be especially dangerous because the sides of most vehicles provide less protection than the front or rear. Common injuries in T-bone collisions include head trauma, spinal injuries, broken bones, and internal bleeding.
Authorities urge drivers to obey traffic signals, reduce speeds in intersections, and remain alert for cross traffic to help prevent these devastating accidents.
