Louisville, KY (September 5, 2024) – A young girl is recovering after being hit by a pickup truck in the Shawnee neighborhood on Thursday, September 5. The incident occurred around 8:40 a.m. near the intersection of 36th St and Broadway.

Emergency responders transported the girl to Norton Children’s Hospital, where she was treated for a leg injury. Authorities expect her to survive.
