Loudon, NH (February 21, 2025) – A fatal head-on collision on Route 106 North in Loudon claimed one life and left two others injured on Thursday afternoon, according to the Loudon Police Department.
Authorities responded to the crash at approximately 2:30 p.m. and discovered that the accident involved a utility truck and a Jeep. Emergency crews worked to assist the injured and secure the scene.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, while two others sustained injuries. Officials have not yet released the identity of the deceased or the severity of the other victims’ injuries.
A detour was set up at Loudon Ridge Road in Loudon and Allens Mill Road in Gilmanton for several hours while officers and a medical examiner conducted an investigation. Route 106 has since been reopened.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
