Los Angeles County, CA (September 29, 2024) – Tragedy struck in Los Angeles County on Friday morning as two separate crashes involving school buses resulted in the loss of two lives, including that of an innocent cyclist. The first incident occurred in Lancaster at approximately 7 a.m. on Avenue M, east of 20th Street.
According to the LA County Sheriff’s Department, a gray SUV was traveling east on Avenue M when the driver unexpectedly veered into oncoming traffic, colliding with a school bus “nearly head-on.” Investigators are currently working to determine the circumstances that led the driver to stray into the opposite lane.
