Traffic Accidents on California Freeways
Freeways in California, such as Interstate 5, are some of the busiest roadways in the United States. Multi-vehicle collisions are particularly common in high-traffic zones and can cause extensive delays, disruptions, and risks to motorists. According to the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS), maintaining safe following distances and avoiding lane changes during heavy traffic can help reduce the likelihood of multi-vehicle accidents.
Drivers should remain attentive and cautious, especially in areas with high traffic flow or complex interchanges. Preventative driving measures can play a crucial role in ensuring safety on California’s crowded freeways.
