Pedestrian and Skateboarder Accidents in Los Angeles
Los Angeles streets, especially high-traffic corridors like Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, are often dangerous for pedestrians and skateboarders. Accidents involving vulnerable road users frequently result in severe injuries or fatalities due to their exposure and lack of protection.
California law grants pedestrians and skateboarders certain rights when navigating roadways, such as the right of way in designated crosswalks. However, high speeds, distracted driving, and failure to yield remain common factors in such tragic incidents.
For families dealing with the loss of a loved one in a collision, it is vital to seek guidance and understand their rights. Holding at-fault parties accountable can help bring closure and ensure proper compensation for their loss.
