Lonoke Co, AR (November 13, 2024) – A tragic accident occurred Tuesday morning on Charlie Olds Rd, resulting in one fatality and one injury. The crash was reported at approximately 8:45 a.m., involving a single vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed.
The accident involved a 2006 Ford Mustang heading east on Charlie Olds Rd. For reasons still under investigation, the vehicle left the roadway, struck a driveway, became airborne, and collided with a tree on the driver’s side. The car came to rest in a nearby yard.
The driver, identified as 39-year-old Aaron Burke of Ward, was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Lonoke County Coroner. A passenger, 34-year-old Amber Burke, also from Ward, sustained injuries and was transported to UAMS for treatment.
