Logan, UT (September 4, 2024) – A 20-year-old woman was hospitalized with critical injuries after a car struck and dragged her while she was biking eastbound on 1400 N near Main St. The incident happened Tuesday around 2:45 p.m. when an 81-year-old man pulled out of the Winco parking lot and hit the cyclist. Witnesses reported the woman was dragged approximately 20 feet. Bystanders quickly intervened to lift the vehicle off her.
Emergency responders transported the injured woman to Intermountain Logan Regional Hospital. The driver told officers he did not see the cyclist.
