According to police reports, the incident took place when a Chevy Silverado was traveling north on 27th Street and allegedly ran a red light, colliding with a southbound Dodge Charger that was turning east onto Knox Street.
The crash happened in the intersection, leading to significant damage. Following the collision, the Silverado continued on and struck a traffic pole, while the Charger came to a stop on the median of 27th Street. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene to assist those involved.

The 22-year-old driver of the Charger, a resident of Lincoln, was believed to have sustained a concussion and was unable to recall the details of the crash when questioned at the hospital. He was later released after receiving care.
