Lincoln, MO (September 10, 2024) – Two people sustained moderate injuries in a crash on northbound US-61 near Old Hwy 61 on Tuesday morning. The accident occurred at 9:30 a.m. when a 2009 Pontiac G6, driven by 18-year-old Jeanna Rose of Winfield, MO, failed to yield while crossing US-61. The Pontiac collided with a 2002 Toyota 4Runner driven by 40-year-old Jeffrey Muskopf of Des Moines, IA.

Rose and a passenger, 36-year-old Colton Sterns from Louisiana, MO, were transported to Mercy Hospital St. Louis with moderate injuries. Neither Rose nor Sterns were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
