Side-Swipe Accidents in Missouri
Side-swipe accidents are common on highways, particularly when one vehicle unexpectedly changes lanes without enough space. In this case, the semi-truck’s attempt to change lanes led to a collision with the Nissan Sentra. Side-swipe collisions can often result in vehicles losing control, as seen when the Nissan was pushed off the road and into the ditch.
This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of checking mirrors and blind spots before changing lanes, especially when traveling on busy highways like I-35. Drivers should always be aware of their surroundings and make lane changes cautiously to avoid accidents that could lead to serious injuries or significant property damage.
