Liberty City, TX (September 11, 2024) – A Gregg County Sheriff’s deputy sustained injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Tuesday afternoon. The incident occurred while the deputy was responding to a single-vehicle accident near FM 1252 and Bud St.
Another vehicle hit the deputy, who was immediately transported to a hospital. His current condition has not been disclosed. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
