Pedestrian Accidents in Delaware
Pedestrian-involved crashes, even in parking lots, can result in devastating consequences. In Delaware, pedestrian accidents often occur in high-traffic areas like shopping centers, where vehicles and foot traffic frequently intersect. According to the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT), low-speed vehicle collisions in parking lots can still cause severe or fatal injuries due to the vulnerability of pedestrians.
Common causes of pedestrian crashes include driver inattention, failure to yield, and low visibility. Even at slow speeds, vehicles can cause serious harm if drivers fail to remain aware of their surroundings.
For families affected by fatal pedestrian crashes, the aftermath can be overwhelming. Seeking legal guidance and understanding available resources can help loved ones navigate the difficult process ahead.
