Leonardtown, MD – Woman Flown to Hospital After Tractor Accident on Bayside Rd

Leonardtown, MD (September 16, 2024) – Emergency personnel responded to a serious tractor accident on Bayside Rd near Big Chestnut Rd on Saturday, September 14. The incident occurred at approximately 1:56 p.m. when the victim’s tractor veered off the road while heading to Clements Cuties.

An off-duty medic arrived at the scene and applied a tourniquet to the victim’s leg due to a possible compound fracture. EMS soon arrived and requested a MEDEVAC due to the severity of the injury.

The 56-year-old female was airlifted to Baltimore Shock Trauma Center by MSPAC Trooper 2 for further treatment. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident, and further updates will be provided.
