Leominster, MA (January 7, 2025) – A tragic accident occurred Monday evening near the Market Basket on Sack Blvd in Leominster, claiming the life of a 13-year-old pedestrian. According to authorities, the incident happened just after 6 p.m. when the child was struck by a Chevrolet Silverado.
Emergency responders rushed the juvenile to UMass Memorial HealthAlliance Hospital – Leominster Campus, where they were later pronounced dead. Police have not released the identity of the victim. The driver of the Silverado, registered in Maine, remained at the scene and is fully cooperating with investigators.
