Lehigh Acres, FL (February 13, 2025) – A severe crash involving a hatchback and a pickup truck towing a trailer left one person critically injured early Thursday morning at the intersection of Joel Boulevard and E 10th Street.
Lehigh Acres Fire crews responded to the scene at approximately 3:39 a.m. Upon arrival, emergency responders found a 40- to 50-year-old male victim in traumatic cardiac arrest. Paramedics transported him to Lehigh Regional Medical Center for emergency treatment.
Authorities have confirmed that Joel Boulevard remains completely shut down between E 9th Street and E 11th Street as the Lee County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
