Leasburg, MO – 17-Year-Old Bicyclist Seriously Injured in Crash on Hwy H

Leasburg, MO (September 15, 2024) – A 17-year-old male bicyclist sustained serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle Saturday morning, September 14. The crash occurred at 10:50 AM on Hwy H in Leasburg when a 2014 Ford Escape, driven by 68-year-old Kathleen A. Christian, crossed the centerline and hit the bicyclist.

The injured teen, from Columbia, MO, was flown by Arch 6 to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis for treatment. Christian, the driver, did not report any injuries from the incident.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
