Intersection-Related Crashes in Missouri
Collisions involving left-turning vehicles are common in Missouri, especially on rural highways like MO-97. These types of crashes often occur when drivers misjudge the speed or distance of approaching vehicles or fail to adequately signal their intentions.
The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) emphasizes that defensive driving and adherence to traffic laws, including proper use of turn signals and yielding at intersections, can significantly reduce the risk of such incidents.
Victims of vehicle collisions often face medical expenses, vehicle repair costs, and emotional distress. Understanding their legal rights and accessing resources can assist them in navigating the aftermath of an accident.
