Lawrence County, MO (November 2, 2024) – A serious crash occurred on November 1 at approximately 12:25 p.m. on Highway H, three miles north of Friestatt, resulting in multiple injuries. The incident involved a single vehicle, a 2015 GMC Terrain, which overturned after traveling off the left side of the road.
According to the crash report, the vehicle was driven by a 63-year-old male from Marshfield, MO, who was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. He sustained moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for medical care.
Inside the vehicle were three juvenile passengers, all male and aged 8, 10, and 11, who also sustained injuries. They were transported to the same hospital for evaluation and treatment. All occupants were wearing safety devices, which likely contributed to their ability to survive the rollover.
