Laurel, MD (January 1, 2025) – Emergency crews responded to a house fire in the 8500 block of Crooked Tree Ln in Laurel on Tuesday afternoon. The fire, reported at approximately 4:00 PM, resulted in a confirmed pediatric injury and required a medical evacuation (MEDEVAC).
A landing zone (LZ) was established near the scene for the MEDEVAC helicopter. In addition to the child, a second victim was being evaluated for injuries at the scene. Units responding included a full one-alarm assignment to manage the fire and assist those injured.
