Laurel, DE (January 24, 2025) – A structure fire broke out on Friday afternoon at 28822 Balsam Dr in Laurel, prompting a multi-agency response. The fire was first reported as a stove fire at approximately 2:11 PM and was quickly brought under control by responding fire crews.
Firefighters from Laurel (81), Blades (71), and Seaford (87) worked together to extinguish the flames and secure the scene. EMS personnel evaluated multiple individuals at the site, and two patients were transported to nearby medical facilities for further treatment. The extent of their injuries has not yet been disclosed.
