Las Vegas, NV (September 28, 2024) – A serious motorcycle accident occurred on Thursday afternoon, critically injuring the rider. The Las Vegas police responded to the scene of the crash at approximately 1:13 p.m. on South Durango Boulevard, near Warm Springs Road.
According to police reports, witnesses and evidence indicated that a green Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed southbound on South Durango. The motorcycle driver, a 19-year-old man, was involved in a collision with a 2015 Infinity QX70, which was also traveling southbound.
As the Infinity, driven by a 47-year-old man with a 56-year-old female passenger, turned left into a private drive on the west side of the roadway, the motorcycle was approaching. The front of the Kawasaki struck the right side of the Infinity, causing the vehicle to rotate and come to a stop in the roadway.
