Clark County Fire Department responded to reports of the blaze around 12:47 AM in the 9400 block of Las Vegas Blvd. Firefighters arrived to find smoke and flames coming from a single-story, multi-family residence. Crews immediately began extinguishing the fire and searching adjoining units for residents. During the operation, the roof of the building partially collapsed, but firefighters were able to enter and continue their search. Tragically, one person was confirmed dead at the scene, while another was transported to the hospital in stable condition. In total, 14 residents were displaced, and numerous pets were rescued. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but firefighters worked tirelessly to prevent the fire from spreading further.
