Las Vegas, NV – Cyclist Critically Injured in Collision at Tropicana Ave & Wilbur St

Las Vegas, NV (September 16, 2024) – A 34-year-old Venezuelan woman riding a bicycle was critically injured in a crash at Tropicana Ave and Wilbur St late Sunday night. The cyclist, who rode against a traffic light, collided with a 2024 Volkswagen Atlas driven by 66-year-old Juan Dominguez of Texas.

She was transported to Sunrise Hospital in critical condition. Dominguez displayed signs of impairment and was arrested for DUI. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department continues to investigate the collision.
