Lancaster, CA (September 11, 2024) – One person died following a pedestrian accident on Monday night, September 9, at Third St E and Ave I. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. when a pedestrian was struck by a red four-door sedan then fled the scene without providing any aid. According to Detective Nestor Garcia, emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the victim with severe injuries. Unfortunately, the person succumbed to those injuries.
