Lake City, FL – Two Dead in Separate Crashes on I-10 and Baseline Rd

Lake City, FL (September 13, 2024) – Two fatal accidents occurred in North Central Florida on Friday, September 13. The first crash happened when a 20-year-old driver from Lake City lost control of his vehicle on I-10 near the I-75 interchange. Rainy conditions and poor tires contributed to the driver flipping his car over a culvert. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

In Marion County, a 73-year-old man was killed after his vehicle veered off Baseline Rd and crashed into a tree in a nearby wooded area. He was also pronounced dead at the scene.
