Kings Mountain, NC – 73-Year-Old Man Dies in Two-Car Collision at S Battleground Ave & Raven Cir

Kings Mountain, NC (September 12, 2024) – Edmond Bukoski, 73, died from injuries sustained in a two-car crash on Wednesday, September 11. The accident occurred around 8:10 a.m. at S Battleground Ave and Raven Cir. A small pickup truck and a large box truck collided. Bukoski was trapped in his pickup, requiring firefighters to use specialized equipment to rescue him.

Cleveland County EMS transported him to Atrium Health in Kings Mountain, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The box truck driver was unharmed. Authorities have indicated no criminal charges will be filed. The investigation into the accident continues.
