Kennewick, WA (February 11, 2025) – A 45-year-old Pasco man sustained injuries after a Washington State Patrol (WSP) trooper used a fully marked patrol car to stop his wrong-way vehicle on State Route 395 in Kennewick.
The incident occurred during the early morning hours of February 11, when the driver was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of SR 395 near Kennewick Avenue. To prevent a potentially catastrophic collision, a WSP trooper, with emergency lights activated, intentionally struck the wrong-way vehicle, disabling it.
