Kennewick, WA – Injuries Reported After Stolen Car Crashes on N Volland St & W Canal Dr

Kennewick, WA (September 16, 2024) – Kennewick Police attempted to stop a stolen vehicle around 11:20 p.m. on Saturday near N Ely St. The driver fled. Leading officers on a pursuit. The chase ended at the intersection of N Volland St and W Canal Dr. Where the car crashed into a retaining wall. Four occupants fled but were quickly apprehended. Two passengers were examined by paramedics and released, while the driver was arrested on multiple charges. Including felony possession of a stolen vehicle.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
