Kansas City, MO (September 2, 2024) – A 35-year-old woman from Clinton sustained serious injuries after an early morning crash on Sunday. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident occurred around 12:35 a.m. on Highway M at Rte 13. The woman, driving a 2016 Nissan Rogue, failed to stop at a stop sign, causing her vehicle to go airborne and strike a tree.
Authorities have not confirmed if she was wearing a seatbelt at the time. Due to the severity of her injuries, a life flight transported her to a hospital in Kansas City, MO. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office and Clinton Fire Department assisted at the scene. More information is expected as the investigation continues.
