Kanawha County, WV (December 17, 2024) – Four people were transported to the hospital following a crash Tuesday in the 6800 block of Elk River Road near Hokie Lane and Fairwater Road, between Falling Rock and Clendenin.
According to Kanawha County Metro 911 dispatchers, the crash occurred earlier in the day, prompting emergency response and a temporary road closure. The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office reported that two individuals sustained serious injuries, though they are not believed to be life-threatening. The other two individuals suffered minor injuries.
Emergency crews worked quickly to assist the injured and clear the roadway. Officials confirmed that Elk River Road is about to reopen to traffic.
