Jonestown, TX (December 1, 2024) – A tragic two-car collision in Jonestown on Saturday evening claimed the lives of two individuals and left a third seriously injured. The crash occurred at approximately 4:00 PM at the intersection of Pecan Dr and FM 1431, near Evergreen Drive.
Emergency responders from ATCEMS and Travis County ESD 1 arrived quickly at the scene to assist. One individual was reported to be pinned inside their vehicle, requiring extrication efforts by rescue crews. Tragically, by 4:30 PM, two of the individuals involved in the crash were pronounced dead at the scene. A third individual was airlifted by STAR Flight to Dell Seton Medical Center for treatment of potentially serious injuries.
