Pedestrian Accidents in New Jersey
Pedestrian accidents are a significant concern in New Jersey, particularly in areas with high traffic volumes. Each year, hundreds of pedestrians are involved in accidents, leading to severe injuries and fatalities. Factors contributing to these incidents can include impaired driving, distracted driving, and failure to yield to pedestrians in crosswalks.
Statistics indicate that pedestrian fatalities account for a notable percentage of traffic-related deaths in the state. It is crucial for both drivers and pedestrians to exercise caution and adhere to traffic laws to ensure safety on the road.
