Jefferson Twp, PA (March 3, 2025) – A hit-and-run motor vehicle accident with injuries was reported early Sunday morning at the intersection of N Pike Rd and Fisher Rd in Jefferson Township.
Emergency responders from Stations 15 and 45 were dispatched to the scene at approximately 5:52 a.m. Upon arrival at 5:56 a.m., crews found one vehicle off the road with a male victim suffering from a head injury. The second vehicle involved had already fled the scene.
At 6:04 a.m., authorities received reports that the fleeing vehicle may have been returning to the scene, prompting a request for Pennsylvania State Police to be notified. Responding crews worked to manage the debris-covered roadway while providing medical attention to the injured individual.
By 6:32 a.m., EMS transported the victim via Basic Life Support (BLS) to Butler Memorial Hospital for further evaluation. The incident was officially cleared by 7:05 a.m., and the investigation into the hit-and-run remains ongoing.
