Jefferson, MO – Two Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash on West Outer Rd

Jefferson, MO (September 11, 2024) – A three-vehicle accident on West Outer Rd north of Charles J Becker Rd left two drivers seriously injured on Tuesday evening. At around 5:29 p.m., a 2007 Lexus ES 350, driven by Jacob W. Adden, 24, crossed the centerline and struck a 2023 Toyota 4-Runner head-on. The debris from the impact hit a third vehicle, a 2023 Honda CRV.

Both Adden and the 4-Runner driver, Gerald F. Cannito, 72, sustained serious injuries and were transported to Mercy Hospital South by Rock Township Ambulance. The Honda CRV driver was unharmed.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation, and authorities are expected to provide updates as more details become available.
