Jefferson, MO – One Killed, Two Injured in Car Accident on US-67 at Buck Creek Rd

Jefferson, MO (September 3, 2024) – A fatal accident on Monday, September 2, left one person dead and two others injured on US-67 at Buck Creek Rd. A black 2019 Ford Explorer, driven by Whitney Tinsley, 35, collided with a red 2015 Nissan Altima driven by Susan Horan, 67. The Ford was traveling southbound when the Nissan turned left into its path.

The collision resulted in minor injuries to Tinsley and a 17-year-old female passenger. Both were transported to Mercy Hospital Jefferson County. Horan, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the hospital. 

Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the accident and will provide further updates as they become available.
