Jefferson, MO (October 29, 2024) – A vehicle collision occurred early Tuesday morning at approximately 5:48 a.m. on Northbound US 67, just north of Route CC. The incident involved a 2018 Honda Pilot and a 2019 GMC Sierra 2500, prompting a response from local emergency services.
Preliminary reports indicate that both vehicles were traveling northbound on US 67 when the driver of the GMC Sierra, 22-year-old Aidan P. Blair from Bonne Terre, Missouri, struck the rear of the Honda Pilot, driven by 35-year-old Brittany M. Meppiel from Farmington. The impact resulted in minor damage to both vehicles, with the Honda Pilot requiring towing by Pippins Towing due to the collision.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene to assess the situation and provide medical assistance. Brittany Meppiel sustained injuries from the accident and was transported by Joachim Plattin Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital Jefferson for further evaluation and care. Fortunately, Aidan Blair reported no injuries and was able to drive his vehicle from the scene.
