Lane-Change Accidents in Missouri
Improper lane changes are a common cause of crashes on Missouri’s highways, particularly on major interstates like I-55. Sudden or unsafe lane shifts can result from distractions, misjudgment of space, or failure to check blind spots, increasing the risk of side-swipe collisions.
Drivers are reminded to use turn signals, maintain awareness of surrounding vehicles, and adhere to highway safety guidelines to prevent such accidents. In Missouri, staying alert and practicing defensive driving can significantly reduce the risk of collisions.
Victims of lane-change accidents often face physical injuries, medical expenses, and emotional strain. Consulting with professionals who can guide accident recovery and ensure appropriate compensation is a critical step.
