Jefferson County, MO (September 19, 2024) – A serious accident involving three vehicles occurred on Wednesday, September 18, at 10:47 a.m. on MO-141 near Schneider Dr. The crash happened when a 2007 Ford Fusion, driven by Gerda Johnson, 91, failed to yield to a red light and struck a 2013 RAM 14500, driven by Terry Compton, 69.

Compton was ejected from his vehicle and suffered serious injuries. Both Compton and Johnson were transported to Mercy Hospital South by the Rock Township Ambulance District.
