Jefferson County, MO (January 14, 2025) – A rear-end collision on Route PP west of Willow Lane left one person injured Monday afternoon, January 13. The accident occurred around 4:00 PM and involved a 2019 Hyundai Accent and an unidentified vehicle.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that the Hyundai Accent, driven by a 22-year-old man from High Ridge, had stopped to yield to oncoming traffic while attempting a left turn. An unidentified vehicle traveling behind the Hyundai failed to stop in time and struck the car’s rear.
The Hyundai sustained total damage and was towed from the scene by High Ridge Towing. The other vehicle, which had extensive damage, was driven away from the scene.
The driver of the Hyundai sustained injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital St. Louis by private conveyance. Trooper M.T. McCoy (878) is investigating the crash.
