Jefferson County, MO (February 16, 2025) – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle on Saturday evening while running in and out of traffic on eastbound Highway 30, west of Caroline Dr.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 5:40 p.m. when a 2017 Honda Fit, driven by a 30-year-old male from Cedar Hill, MO, was traveling eastbound in lane two. The vehicle collided with a pedestrian who was in the roadway at the time of impact.
Emergency responders, including the North Jefferson County Fire District and local authorities, arrived at the scene. A paramedic pronounced the pedestrian, a 41-year-old male from High Ridge, MO, deceased at 5:45 p.m. The individual was transported to the Jefferson County Morgue by Edward Mortuary Services.
The driver of the Honda Fit, who was wearing a safety device, did not sustain any reported injuries. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene by High Ridge Towing.
