Jasper, MO (October 29, 2024) – A serious vehicle accident occurred on Tuesday morning at approximately 8:50 a.m. on Westbound Interstate 44, approximately two miles east of Fidelity. Emergency services responded promptly to the scene following reports of a multi-vehicle collision that resulted in injuries.
According to preliminary investigations, the crash involved three vehicles. The incident began when a 2012 Ford F-250, driven by 52-year-old Jason D. Graff from Sarcoxie, MO, struck the rear of a 2021 International HV507, operated by 39-year-old Christopher J. Gregory from Carthage, MO. This collision caused the Ford F-250 to veer into the second lane, where it subsequently collided with a 2024 Ford Transit driven by 39-year-old Eyenzsi D. Reneauy from Long Beach, CA. The impact led to significant damage, with both the Ford F-250 and the Ford Transit being declared total losses.
Emergency responders from Jasper County arrived at the scene to provide assistance. Graff sustained serious injuries and was transported via EMS to Mercy Joplin for medical care. Gregory and Reneauy both suffered injuries; Gregory sought his own treatment, while Reneauy was also transported to Mercy Joplin for further evaluation.
