Jasper County, MO (January 21, 2025) – A two-vehicle accident occurred on Monday at approximately 12:00 p.m. on MO 66, about two miles east of Duquesne, resulting in injuries to one individual.
The crash happened when a 2015 Chevrolet Trax, driven by an 18-year-old male from Carthage, MO, collided with the rear of a stalled 2004 Ford F150. The Ford was occupied by a 28-year-old male from Webb City, MO. The Chevrolet sustained total damage, while the Ford sustained moderate damage. Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Schrader’s Wrecker.
The driver of the Chevrolet suffered injuries and was transported by METS EMS to Mercy Joplin for further evaluation. The driver of the Ford did not report injuries. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, including the stalled vehicle’s presence in the roadway.
